Pour avoir assommé un
célèbre calligraphe qui trouvait son travail "rigide et fade", le beau
mais arrogant et égoïste Handa Seishu est contraint de s'exiler sur une
petite île. Le jeune citadin, qui espérait pouvoir travailler son art
dans le calme, déchante rapidement : ses voisins débarquent sans
prévenir, une bande de gamin a choisi son atelier pour terrain de jeu...
Attachants, irritants, farfelus, pleins de vie, les habitants du
village vont chambouler sa vie bien réglée.

L'amie d'une amie lui a dit que ce manga lui faisait penser à "La
papeterie Tsubaki", alors évidemment, il fallait que je voie ça de plus
près. Par chance, il était à ma bibliothèque.
Un citadin en butte à la campagne profonde et à ses habitants ! J'ai eu beaucoup de plaisir à le lire : joyeux, parfois hilarant, le récit de ce calligraphe hautain et ronchon envoyé dans une île où il se fait envahir par une bonne partie de la population m'a fait passer un très bon moment plein de charme. En plus, j'ai bien aimé le dessin, très clair.
Bref, il me faut le T2 !

A friend of a friend told her that this manga made her think about "La papeterie Tsubaki" by Ito Ogawa (sorry, it's not published in English), so I had to read it. Fortunately, my library has the whole series.
A citizen sent into the deep country and dealing with its inhabitants ! I had a real fun time reading it : joyful, sometimes hilarious, the tale of his haughty and grumpy calligraph sent on an island where a good part of the population loves to mingle in his life was charming and lovely. I also loved the drawings, clear and bright.
To sum it up, I need to read the next !

Deleteif you like manga,you may like Junji Ito is a Japanese horror mangaka. Its kind of scary but perfect for the halloween season.
