*°*° LIFE UPDATES °*°*
My blog turned 1 year-old last January 6th - I've had other blogs before, but I think this one will last longer.
Apart from that, I was off the internet for practically the whole week. I just posted 3 articles and that was that. I was disturbed every time I started something, so I gave up. But I'be been working on things that might potentially interest you... Meanwhile, we're still watching Supernatural (we reached season 12). I'll be answering all comments (this and last week's...) this week : today, people at home, family gathering, walks outside, cooking, talking, etc.

Because I haven't finished watching Supernatural yet -
and because it's fun !
Happy blog anniversary! I hope you are continuing to enjoy Supernatural. Such a good show. Love those parody videos you shared. I hope you are enjoying your current reads. The Elizabeth Von Arnim book sounds especially good. I hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThanks Wendy ! The Von Arnim was really good, and it was wonderful to read about a garden in summer while it was rainy and cold here :)
DeleteCongratulations on reaching your first year anniversary with this blog!
ReplyDeleteI need to take a look at your post about your classics year. Classics have been like a warm blanket in winter for me in 2020.
I didn't realize that Elizabeth Von Arnim has other books than Enchanted April and German Garden. I will add Suddenly Summer to my list, I think.
England is where many of my people lived. I could live there happily.
Have a great week!
I love those English villages and lovely houses. And the Von Arnim book was as good as I remembered, the review will be up soon. Thanks Deb !
DeleteHappy Anniversary! I wish you a long and prosperous Blogging Life!
ReplyDeleteExcited to see and hear what we might be interested in....
Can't wait for your reviews on I captured the castle (haven't read it yet....) and especially for The Murder of Roger Ackroyd. That's one of my favorite Agatha Christie's!
Have a good week and take care!
Elza Reads
Thanks Mareli ! I captured the castle was such a disappointment ! (sobs bitterly) but the Murder of Roger Ackroyd was entertaining, especially if you already know who the killer is ^^
DeleteCongratulations on your first blogoversary - and I love the video of the west of England. The game on that loooong table would be an ideal way to pass the time during Lockdown. We just need to knock a hole in the wall to get it to fit in the kitchen:)). I'm intrigued to discover what you made of Artificial Condition. Have a peaceful, healthy week!
ReplyDeleteThanks SJ :) This table would explode my kitchen wall, lol ! And I absolutely adored Artificial condition, I'm devilishly hooked on this series.
DeleteCongrats on your first blogoversary! Looking forward to the review of Artificial Condition. I loved the first book and want to continue the series.
ReplyDeleteBelieve me, the second book was great ! I said I would read one book of that series per month, but it's hard to hold back and not read them all. Thanks Mar :)
DeleteHappy blogiversary! Here's to the first of many on this blog!
ReplyDeleteI definitely need to read the Murderbot books soon. I've been on the waitlist for the first book forever - not sure when I'll actually get to it. :(
I hope your next week goes better and you are able to get more space to do what you would like to accomplish.
Thanks Athira :) The Murderbot is a terrific series, it's really hard to put it down - not that I'm trying to ^^
DeleteI feel completely silly but can you tell me where to comment on your blog ? Maybe there's a bug this evening, because I know I commented before, but right now, I can't find the comment section...
DeleteCongrats on your 1-year blogoversary! I hope you have many more. I love watching that part of England. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Laura :) I remember fondly the time when I went there, in this beautiful part of England...
DeleteCongratulations on your blog hitting one year old! I Capture The Castle is one of my favourite and I can't wait to hear what you think of the Wilkie Collins book. This was a fun post to read!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cleo :) I'm afraid that I capture the castle won't be among my favourites, be prepared for my review... On the other side, I loved the Wilkie Collins !
DeleteHappy blogoversary!! I know what you mean about having a hard time being online this week. The world is just too insane right now.
ReplyDeleteNicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction
Thanks Nicole, and you're right, the world is so... weird...
DeleteHope you had a great weekend! And happy anniversary for the blog! I still need to catch up on Murderbot.
ReplyDeleteOoh I like Rick steves. And the west of England- nice! I started watching it and realized I'd seen this one before on TV lol! I'll watch it again though probably- beautiful scenery :)
You'll love the Murderbot :) I didn't know Rick Steves, but I see there are other videos on YT so I'll happily watch them.
DeleteHappy Blogoversary 🎉
ReplyDeleteWishing you a great reading week, and time to yourself!
Thanks Shelleyrae, I'm trying to organize myself in that purpose ^^
DeleteHappy Anniversary! I really like the look of the cover on "I Capture The Castle"
ReplyDeleteThanks Victoria :) It's a very pretty cover but I didn't like that book - while it's other people's favourite !
DeleteJust got Artificial Condition. Exciting!
ReplyDeleteYes it is, I hope you love it !!
DeleteHappy Blogiversary!!! Here's to many more years of blogging! Over my Christmas break, I planned out all of my blog posts for the month of January. That's the only way I was able to get this ship afloat because I'm already starting to feel overwhelmed!
ReplyDeleteThanks Katisha ! I now have so many reviews written in advance that I'm beginning to wonder if some won't have to be posted in february, lol !
DeleteHappy Blogaversary! I love Murderbot!!
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
