My week in books (not only) #52 - The Sunday Post - The Sunday Salon

Hello, I'm linking back to The sunday post held by Kim, The Caffeinated Reviewer and The sunday salon held by Deb at Readerbuzz. Click on the links to access their posts and discover plenty of great bloggers who are dying to share their book reviews, and other things, with you !

 *°*° LIFE UPDATES °*°*

My blog turned 1 year-old last January 6th - I've had other blogs before, but I think this one will last longer.
Apart from that, I was off the internet for practically the whole week. I just posted 3 articles and that was that. I was disturbed every time I started something, so I gave up. But I'be been working on things that might potentially interest you... Meanwhile, we're still watching Supernatural (we reached season 12). I'll be answering all comments (this and last week's...) this week : today, people at home, family gathering, walks outside, cooking, talking, etc.

 *°*° LAST WEEK °*°*

  *°*° BOOKS READ °*°*

Reviews for these books should be posted next week
(if I kick myself hard enough and if everybody leaves me some space) :

Because I haven't finished watching Supernatural yet -
and because it's fun !

Another visit, this time to the West of England :
(if you don't want to watch the whole video,
jump to 8:46mn, you'll be surprised)

  1. Happy blog anniversary! I hope you are continuing to enjoy Supernatural. Such a good show. Love those parody videos you shared. I hope you are enjoying your current reads. The Elizabeth Von Arnim book sounds especially good. I hope you have a great week!

    1. Thanks Wendy ! The Von Arnim was really good, and it was wonderful to read about a garden in summer while it was rainy and cold here :)

  2. Congratulations on reaching your first year anniversary with this blog!

I need to take a look at your post about your classics year. Classics have been like a warm blanket in winter for me in 2020.

I didn't realize that Elizabeth Von Arnim has other books than Enchanted April and German Garden. I will add Suddenly Summer to my list, I think.

England is where many of my people lived. I could live there happily.

    Have a great week!

  3. Happy Anniversary! I wish you a long and prosperous Blogging Life!

Excited to see and hear what we might be interested in....

Can't wait for your reviews on I captured the castle (haven't read it yet....) and especially for The Murder of Roger Ackroyd. That's one of my favorite Agatha Christie's!

Have a good week and take care!

    1. Thanks Mareli ! I captured the castle was such a disappointment ! (sobs bitterly) but the Murder of Roger Ackroyd was entertaining, especially if you already know who the killer is ^^

  4. Congratulations on your first blogoversary - and I love the video of the west of England. The game on that loooong table would be an ideal way to pass the time during Lockdown. We just need to knock a hole in the wall to get it to fit in the kitchen:)). I'm intrigued to discover what you made of Artificial Condition. Have a peaceful, healthy week!

  6. Happy blogiversary! Here's to the first of many on this blog!

I definitely need to read the Murderbot books soon. I've been on the waitlist for the first book forever - not sure when I'll actually get to it. :(

I hope your next week goes better and you are able to get more space to do what you would like to accomplish.
