Lisa Gardner, my favourite thriller author ! I've read all of her books now and each year, I'm (im)patiently waiting for the new one to be relased. And each year, my main problem becomes : should I devour it or make it last until the next novel ?...

I love her dark stories, her sense of humour, the complex characters she chooses to explore, her strong female characters, their humanity (or lack of), the suspense that keeps me on the edge of my seat, how she has me guessing about several possible suspects, the gorgeous settings that can become claustrophobic - well, i loved everything, this book was absolutely brilliant !

And even if you haven't read the previous one in the series (Before she disappeared), you can perfectly read this as a standalone - though Frankie is worth reading the other.

Highly, highly, highly recommended !
